Joyner Preview

Here we go ... some highlights of my first session! A big thanks to the Joyners (thanks sis for being brave--hopefully it was worth the time & effort!!) Jacob, Sam, Luke, and Ben--you guys were the best ... very good sports.

I'll probably look back on this and smile ... for a couple reasons (1) I got everyone lost on the way to the park in Highland Park (kinda not my fault b/c there was tons of construction) ... I think we were lost for ~25 minutes, (2) Half my shots were blurry--probably b/c my mind wasn't on the shot I was shooting ... it was on the shot I was trying to come up with, and (3) it had to be the hottest day of the year--every time I would look down at the LCD, it was covered with sweat.

Also, thanks to my lovely assistant, Rachel ... hopefully this is the first of many sessions to come--it was a lot of fun!

Wow Bri! Looks amazing! What a cute little family. That was a beautiful place to take pics for sure. I wish I lived there so you could do our pics and make my boys look that angelic!

Dude, you're hired ... but I'm not going outside for pictures any time soon!! I hope you're still willing to have some business when the spring rolls around!!!

BTW, do you have the opposite of a wide angled lens? Something that makes chubby people look skinny? I'd totally pay extra for that. lol.

Hey Rachel and Brian- this is Kristen Harrison (Wilson) from Georgia. I'm not exactly sure how I came across your blog (we must know some of the same people). I like your pics- I recently invested in a Nikon D40 (very low grade, I know) and took a photo class, but I still haven't mastered lighting like these pics. Good job! Brian! Wow those are beautiful. I saw them on Natalie's blog a couple of days ago, and thought she sure was lucky to find such a great photographer... Now I know her secret.
